About Me

Hi, I’m Linda Jordan—a watercolor artist living in Westminster, Colorado.

Art has always had a place in my heart, even if it didn’t become my full-time focus until later in life. For nearly 20 years, I’ve been part of a weekly art class led by Lanette Duncan—though to be honest, it’s as much a gathering of dear friends as it is a class. It’s in this joyful, supportive space that my artistic voice has grown.

Most of my work is what you’d call derivative art—I recreate and reinterpret pieces that inspire me. When I see something beautiful, whether it’s from another artist or a striking image, I want to explore it through my own lens. Even when I’m borrowing the composition, the final result is always uniquely mine. I put my own spin, style, and emotion into every brushstroke.

Before I devoted myself to painting, I worked as a CPA—a very different kind of life! But since retiring over 20 years ago, I’ve had the time and freedom to dive into the world of art, and it’s been deeply fulfilling.

I hope my work brings you a sense of the joy, curiosity, and connection that I feel while creating it.

Thanks for stopping by!
